SpaceX lock-up expiration dates

Holders of SpaceX shares issued before its public offering are restricted from selling them for set periods: a lock-up. The prospectus prints the dates on which parts of those shares are released from the restriction. This page lists them as printed in the 424B4 prospectus dated Jun 11, 2026. A release date is the first day the shares are free of the lock-up. It says nothing about whether any holder will trade.

Dates and share figures are as the prospectus prints them. "Shares, up to" is shown where a row states one figure; where it states alternatives, the prospectus's words are shown instead. "Of shares outstanding" divides that figure by 13,181,779,945 shares of all classes, as of Jul 28, 2026.

How these dates are read

The dates come from the lock-up section of the prospectus filed with the SEC. Where the prospectus prints a release schedule, each date is taken as printed. Where it states only a period (for example 180 days), the date is counted from the date of the prospectus. A company can release shares earlier or change the terms; when it does, it says so in a filing, and the SpaceX page lists its latest filings.

Lock-up dates for every company on this site are on the launch manifest. How share counts and market caps are built: methodology.
